About Lecturer.
Kaveesha Udayangani Dahanayaka is a dedicated Kids Robotics Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Robotics (SLIR), where she mentors students across Kids, Junior, and Senior levels. With a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, and Embedded Systems, she integrates engineering principles with hands-on robotics education, making complex concepts accessible to young learners.
She is holds B.Sc. in Physical Science, specializing in Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, and Embedded Systems at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Additionally, she is enrolled in the Comprehensive Master Java Developer program at the Institute of Software Engineering (IJSE), further enhancing her expertise in software development and programming. She also holds a Diploma in IT and a Diploma in English from the International College of Business and Technology (ICBT).
Beyond academics, Kaveesha actively contributes to research and leadership roles. She serves as the Vice Secretary of the Society of Electronic and Embedded Systems at her university and has worked as a Research Manager for the J’pura Astronomy Club. Her strong management, negotiation, and quality control skills allow her to excel in both education and project leadership.
With expertise in robotics, embedded systems, Java development, and software engineering, Kaveesha is passionate about fostering innovation in young minds and preparing students for the future of technology.
